Match settings
Each team bats half their overs, teams swap, then both come back to finish the remaining overs in the same order.
Every player gets to bat. When all but one are out, pick "Last Man" as the partner — the not-out batter stays on strike (odd runs and over-ends don't switch strike) until they're out or the overs run out.
Once a batsman reaches this ball count their box highlights on the Live tab as a nudge to retire them — nothing happens automatically. Retire them yourself with the "Retire batsman" button whenever you're ready.
Opening over(s) are power play automatically. The bowling side and the batting side each get the same number of called overs (2 each for a 20-over game — drop it to 1 each for a shortened match). Either side can call their block anytime after the opening over — once called it's played back-to-back. A bowler can bowl only one power-play over per innings. If the batting side never calls theirs, the last overs of their innings default to it.

Just the captain's name is enough to start — add the rest now if you have time, or bring players in as they show up, even mid-match.

Backup & restore
Every ball is saved in this browser automatically. At each innings break the app keeps a checkpoint (below) and a pop-up asks you to save a backup file, in case the browser gets cleared or you switch phones.
Saved matches
Each match is saved here on this device when it finishes, and before a reset. Export to Excel and drop the file into the shared folder. That file is the permanent record, since this list lives only in this browser.
